Application Details

Application Notes Label: Tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanante (TRITC) (Molecular Weight 444 daltons) Absorption Wavelength: 550 nm Emission Wavelength: 570 nm Fluorochrome/Protein Ratio: 3.6 moles TRITC per mole of Goat IgG. Application Advice: Suitable for immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry or FACS analysis as well as other antibodybased fluorescent assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
Concentration 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Purification This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using HumanIgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities. Assayby immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Human IgG and HumanSerum. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Chicken, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Horse, Mouse, Rabbit,Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins.
Buffer 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2Stabilizer: 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) IgG and Protease free Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide
Storage Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration. Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (orequivalent). For extended storage reconstitute product with 50% glycerol instead of water and then aliquotcontents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if notcompletely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as anundiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of restoration.
