Specificity
|
For characterization of different stages of infection and very useful for the analysis of theAAV assembly process. ADK1a specifically reacts with intact adeno-associated virusparticles, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembledcapsids, not present in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsidproteins. AAV-1, found in Human and Monkey, in Immunofluorescence microscopy and dotblot analysis cross-reactivity with AAV-6 was observed, no crossreaction with AAV type 2,3, 4, 5
