Description
The cytokine GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursorcells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils anderythrocytes. Used in myeloid reconstitution following bone marrow transplant, bonemarrow transplant engraftment failure or delay, mobilization and following transplantationof autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells, and following induction chemotherapy inolder adults with acute myelogenous leukemia.

Specificity
This antibody reacts with Mouse GM-CSF. Species: Mouse. Others not tested. Add. Information: Centrifuge vial prior to opening!

Application Notes
NeutralizationTo yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mGM-CSF (0.60ng/ml), a oncentration of 0.012-0.02 µg/ml of this antibody is required. ELISAIndirect: To detect Mouse GM-CSF by indirect ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of atleast 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant Mouse GM-CSF. Sandwich: To detect mGM-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µl/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Murine GM-CSF (PP003B1 or PP003B2) as adetection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinantmGM-CSF. Western Blot: To detect Mouse GM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant mGM-CSF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.

Buffer
PBS, pH 7.2 without preservatives.Reconstitution: Restore in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
Storage
Store the antibody prior to reconstitution at -20°C. Following reconstitution the antibodycan be stored at 2-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
