Application Details

Application Notes ELISA: (Direct): To detect hTNF-β by direct ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonalantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of atleast 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTNF-β. (Sandwich): To detect hTNF-β by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonalantibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-Human TNF-β (PP1072P1/PP1072P2) as acapture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hTNF-β. Western Blot: To detect hTNF-β by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hTNF-β is 1.5- 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer PBS, pH 7.2 without preservatives.Label: Biotin conjugated.Reconstitution: Restore in sterile PBS containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml.
Storage Store the antibody prior to reconstitution at -20°C. Following reconstitution the antibodycan be stored at 2-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
