Immunogen Purified Human tonsil lymphocyte membranes. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1/1-Ag4.1 myeloma cell line
Clone W6-32
Isotype IgG2a
Specificity SM1222LE recognises an antigenic determinant shared among products of the HLA A, B and C loci. Clone W6/32 recognises a conformational epitope, reacting with HLA class I alpha-3 and alpha-2 domains (Ref 7). MHC class I glycoproteins are found on the surface of almost all nucleated somatic cells.
Purification Affinity Chromatography on Protein G
Endotoxin Level Low Endotoxin
Background Alternate names: HLA Class 2 ABC, Human Leukocyte antigen class I ABC, MHC class I ABC, Major Histocompatibility complex class I
Research Area Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC)
Application Notes This product is routinely tested in flow cytometry on human peripheral blood lymphocytes: Use 10 ul of 1/50 - 1/100 diluted antibody to label 10e6 cells in 100 ul. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (see Ref 6, Tonsil is useful as positive control). Not suitable for Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections. Immunoprecipitation (Ref 1). ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
