Specificity

The antibody 2-25LE reacts with Lewisb blood group antigen, a carbohydrate determinant carried on both glycolipids and glycoproteins, detected on erythrocytes, certain epithelial cells, and in secretions of certain individuals. It does not react with the blood group H type 2 antigens or with Lewis A, Sialyl Lewis A, Lewis X, Sialyl Lewis X, Lewis Y, and Lewis C.

Application Notes
|
Immunohistochemistry: 2-4 ug/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min. followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Use human colon CA for postive control. Western blot. ELISA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
