Description
|
BIRC-4 (for baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 4) is a member of the IAP (for Inhibitorof apoptosis protein) family proteins. Other Aliases include RP1-315G1. 5, API3, ILP1, MIHA,XIAP, XLP2. BIRC4 inhibits activated caspase-3 and apoptosis.

The XIAP antibody detects ~53 kDa human XIAP. Species: Human, Mouse, Rat. Others not tested.

Application Notes
|
Western Blot: 0.5-4 μg/ml. Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry. Jurkat cell lysate, mouse small intestine and rat kidney tissue lysates can be used aspositive controls. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
