The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-VASP antibody (ABIN196951) specifically detects VASP in WB and IHC (p).
The antibody is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
VASP antibody detects endogenous levels of VASP only when phosphorylated at serine 157.
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human VASP around the phosphorylation site of serine 157 (R-V-SP-N-A).
