    3rd Extracellular Domain

    Specificity

This antinody detects CX3C Chemokine Fractalkine Receptor 1 (CX3CR1) at 3rd extracellular domain.

    Purification

    Immunoaffinity chromatography

    Immunogen

CX3CR1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from 3rd extracellular domain of human CX3CR1.
  • Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections (3.8 μg/mL). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1xTBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Alternative Name

    CX3CR1 / GPR13

    Background

CX3CR1 a Chemokine Receptor is an HIV coreceptor, as well as a leukocyte chemotactic/adhesion receptor for fractalkine, also known as neurotactin. CX3CR1 mediates chemotactic responses to the soluble form of fractalkine in neutrophils and T cells, and cytoadhesion to cells expressing membrane-anchored fractalkine, such as monocytes, T cells, and neutrophils. Cells transfected with CX3CR1 exhibited chemotaxis and transient increases in intracellular calcium concentration when exposed to fractalkine.Synonyms: Beta chemokine receptor-like 1, C-X3-C CKR-1, CMK-BRL-1, CMKBRL1, CX3C chemokine receptor 1, Fractalkine receptor, G-protein coupled receptor 13, V28
