Format Affinity-purified
Description All names and symbols: DAPP1, dual adaptor of phosphotyrosine and 3-phosphoinositides, BAM32. Official Symbol: DAPP1. RefSeq number(s): AAF14578.1. Gene ontology terms: phospholipid binding, signal transduction
Specificity This antibody was raised against the C-terminus of NP_055210.1. However, NCBI has changed the version to NP_055210.2 thus losing the C-terminal epitope. Human 280 aa

Application Details

Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 26kDa band in Human Heart lysates after 1µg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 32.0kDa according to AAF14578.1. The 26kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Buffer Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Storage Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
Research Area Signaling, Adaptive Immunity
Restrictions For Research Use only
