Description
Lhcb5 is one of the 3 minor, highly conserved chlorophyll a/b-binding proteinsassociated with Photosystem II in plants and algae. As a part of the innerlight-harvesting antenna it has been sugested to regulate (together with Lhcb4and Lhcb6) the energy flow from the outer LHCII antenna to the PSII reactioncenter.

Specificity
Predicted reactivity: Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Not reactive in: other algae.

Storage
store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
