Beta-glucosidase (EC=3.2.1.21) is an enzyme which catalyzes the hydrolysis ofterminal non-reducing residues in beta-D-glucosides with release of glucoseacting upon upon β1->4 bonds linking two glucose or glucose-substitutedmolecules.
