Specificity
- Human FHL1. This antibody is expected to recognise isoforms 2( NP_001440.1) and 5 (NP_001153171.1). Since June 2009 the second N residue in the immunizing peptide is no longer representative as it has been substituted by Q at position 284 of NP_001440.2. Variants NP_001440.2, NP_001153176.1 and NP_001153172.1 represent identical protein.

Application Notes
-
Approved: IHC, IHC-P (2.5 μg/mL), Peptide-ELISA (1:32000), WB (1:32000, 0.05 - 0.3 μg/mL)
Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for this antibody was determined to be 2.5 μg/mL. -
