Specificity: Reactive with: C. trachomatis, C. psittaci (tested so far). Recognizes the 60kD outer membrane complex protein present in the periphery of reticulate bodies (RBs) of 15 serotypes of C. trachomatis and C. psittaci. The epitope is also present on elementary bodies (EBs) of C. trachomatis C-complex serotypes.
