There is 1 publication for this product available. The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-ASK1 antibody is suitable to detect ASK1 in samples from Human and Mouse. It has been validated for WB and IHC.
The antibody detects endogenous level of ASK1 only when phosphorylated at serine 966.
Purification
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography usingepitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removedby chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pSer966 (S-I-S (p) -L-P) derived from Human ASK1. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
ASK1 (MAP3K5)
(Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 5 (MAP3K5))
Alternative Name
ASK1
Background
Component of a protein kinase signal transduction cascade. Phosphorylates and activates MAP2K4 and MAP2K6, which in turn activate the JNK and p38 MAP kinases, respectively.
