    C-Term

    Sequence

    C-ASKQLGSPTA DLA

    Specificity

    This antibody detects SPA1 / SIPA1 at C-term.

    Cross-Reactivity (Details)

    Species reactivity (tested):Human

    Purification

Ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide

    Immunogen

Peptide from C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_694985.28, NP_006738.3 Genename: SIPA1
  • Application Notes

Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western blot: 1-3 μg/mL. Approx.150 kDa band observed in Human lysates ofEBV-immortilized lymphoblastoid (calculated MW of 110 kDa according to NP_694985.28and NP_006738.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings inliterature with different antibodies (Kurachi et al, J Biol Chem.1997 Oct31,272(44): 28081-8, PMID: 9346962). An additional band of 55-60 kDa was consistentlyobserved, however this band was not blocked by the immunizing peptide and it istherefore a non-specific signal.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
