Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA (2 - 4 μg/mL), WB
Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained human brain stroke (including control cortex and stroke core areas) tissue. The primary antibody was incubated at 2.5 μg/mL overnight at 4 °C. This was followed by a fluorophore conjugated secondary antibody. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Information and photo are courtesy of the Tissue Profiling group, SciLifeLab Stockholm. ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 8-9 μg/mL of this antibody will detect recombinant human IL-11 when used with biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human IL-11 (LS-C104365) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 2-4 μg/mL. Western Blot: To detect hIL-11 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1-2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-11 is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. -
