Reconstitution
Supplied as lyophilized and purified antibody originally containing PBS, without Preservative Stabilizers, liking Sodium Azide. It final concentration is indicated in shipping vial. The antibody is stable for at least years from the data of receipt when stored at -20° C to -70° C. Reconstituted antibody (suggesting with sterile PBS) can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20° C to -70° C in a manual defrost freezer for months without detectable loss activity. Upon reconstitution, the antibody can be stored at 4° C for 1 month. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Description
C-peptide is a 31-amino acid single-chain peptide that is made when proinsulin is split into insulin and C-peptide. They split before proinsulin is released from endocytic vesicles within the pancreas” one C-peptide for each insulin molecule. C-peptide is the middle segment of proinsulin that is between the N-terminal B-chain (30amino acids) and the C-terminal A-chain (21 amino acids).Unlike insulin, C-peptide has no known physiological function. Due to the fact that C-peptide has a 2-to-5-time longer half-life than insulin, there are higher concentrations of C-peptide than insulin in the peripheral circulation.

Specificity
The rabbit anti-human C-peptide antibody detected specifically target derived from human samples, such as serum and cell lysates at various concentrations. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat are expected from sequence similarity.

Storage
Store at -20 ° C, if not intended for use within a month, Keep it at 4 ° C and minimize freezing and thawing when use.
