Alternative name TNFAIP8
Gene ID 25816
UniProt O95379, NP_055165.2, NP_001071122.1
Immunogen This TNFAIP8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 50-78 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TNFAIP8.
Isotype Ig
Description Other names: Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 8,TNFAIP8,
Characteristics Peptide Affinity Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab)
Specificity This TNFAIP8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 50-78 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TNFAIP8.
Molecular Weight 23003 DA
Comments

Background: Acts as a negative mediator of apoptosis and may play a role in tumor progression. Suppresses the TNF-mediated apoptosis by inhibiting caspase-8 activity but not the processing of procaspase-8, subsequently resulting in inhibition of BID cleavage and caspase-3 activation.

Application Details

Application Notes The suggested dilution is: ELISA ~~ 1:1,000 Western blotting~~ 1:100~500
