Additional Information

Alternative name Glutathione-S-Transferase
Immunogen Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum]
Format Liquid (sterile filtered)
Specificity This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using GST coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum]. Cross reactivity against Glutathione-S-Transferase from other sources may occur but has not been specifically determined.

Application Details

Application Notes Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Glutathione-S-Transferase [Schistosoma japonicum] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) code ABIN101212 and (ABTS (2,2-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:12,000 to 1:60,000 is suggested for this product. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher. Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.
Concentration 1.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)
Buffer Stabilizer: None. Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide. Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2.
Storage Store vial at 4° C prior to opening. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of opening.
