More Antibodies against Keratin 19 Interaction Partners

Human Keratin 19 (KRT19) interaction partners

  1. High CK19 expression is associated with acute cellular rejection of liver allografts.

  2. Results find that the rate of circulated tumor cells (CTC)-KRT19 positive (pos) increased with the increase of the stages in breast tumors. Preoperative CTC-KRT19-pos in breast cancer patients was closely related to the lymph node metastasis statues and had no significant correlation with other clinicopathological features.

  3. High Hep Par 1 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was univariately associated with good overall and recurrence-free survival after curative resection, while CK19 was marginally prognostic. Combination of the two markers more effectively predicted for long-term prognosis in HCC than Hep Par 1 did.

  4. The expression of cytokeratin19 was associated with sal-like protein 4 expression, as well as poor overall and disease-free survival in hepatocellular carcinoma patients in Taiwan.

  5. Concurrent elevation of preoperative SCC-Ag, CYFRA 21-1 and CRP serum levels can be correlated with worse survival rates in oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.

  6. The findings reveal KRT19 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma is regulated by cross-talk between cancer-associated fibroblasts and hepatocellular carcinoma cells, illuminating new therapeutic targets for this aggressive disease.

  7. Low CK19 expression is associated with Thyroid Papillary Carcinoma.

  8. Cyfra 21.1 is a tool available to independently predict survival of DTC patients not achieving excellent response after primary treatment.

  9. elevated level of preoperative serum Cyfra 21-1 indicates an advanced stage of tumor

  10. CYFRA 21-1 assessed at the end of RT or ChT seems to be a prognostic marker for tumor response. A high concentration of CYFRA 21-1 after treatment increases the risk of death. CYFRA 21-1 might be suggested in the monitoring of carcinomas of head and neck cancer (HNC).

  11. the modulation of KRT19 expression could be involved in cancer stem cell reprogramming and drug sensitivity.

  12. Data indicate that de novo expression of KRT7 and KRT19 resulting in altered plasticity and stem cell characteristics of epithelial cells might be a crucial factor in increasing the risk of tumor development in end-stage kidneys.

  13. High expression of CK-19 is associated with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.

  14. KRT19 intracellularly binds to HER2, playing a critical role in HER2 activation

  15. The combined use of CK19 and CD56 is helpful in discriminating papillary thyroid carcinoma and its variants from other mimicking thyroid lesions.

  16. CYFRA 21-1 can be useful as a tumor marker for evaluating tumor progression and treatment efficacy in patients with extramammary Paget's disease.

  17. YAP1 activation was more commonly found in CCAs than in pure HCCs. However, a differing pattern of YAP1 expression between cHC-CCAs and CK19(+) HCCs and the poor prognosis of YAP1 positive hepatic carcinomas suggests that YAP1 may have a preferential role in aggressive tumor behavior, rather than in the determination of cellular lineage in hepatic carcinomas

  18. Circulating tumor cells expressing cytokeratin and tumor-initiating cell markers, including ALDH, CD133, and CD44, were identified in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. These TIC-like CTCs were associated with poor prognosis after surgical resection and with an increased incidence of tumor recurrence

  19. Aberrant decreased miR-26a could promote cell proliferation by regulating KRT19 which plays important role in the pathogenesis of cholangiocarcinoma.

  20. The detection of TK1 combined with that of cytokeratin-19 fragment (CYFRA21-1), CEA or NSE increased the diagnostic value of TK1 for lung squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and small cell lung cancer, respectively.

Mouse (Murine) Keratin 19 (KRT19) interaction partners

  1. Cytokeratin-19 (CK-19)+ specific deletion of tumor suppressors p53 and Retinoblastoma (Rb) indicated that carcinomas at the injury site originates from cholangiocytes or liver progenitor cells.

  2. Demonstrate that K19 plays an important role in the ductular reaction that constitutes the basic regenerative response to chronic liver injury.

  3. Branched desmin-deficient (DKO) myofibers show significantly faster rates of calcium ion (Ca2+) clearance, with milder branching phenotype observed in DKO muscle suggesting that absence of keratin-19 corrects the defect created by absence of desmin alone.

  4. the structural response of each genotype is distinct, suggesting multiple mechanisms by which desmin and keratin influence the biomechanical properties of myofibers

  5. The expression of CK19 and EGFR in lymphatic metastasis of laryngeal carcinoma was higher than in controls.

  6. Results suggest that keratin filaments containing K19- and desmin-based intermediate filaments can play independent, complementary, or antagonistic roles in the physiology and morphology of fast-twitch skeletal muscle.

  7. a dual mechanism of how PDX-1 negatively regulates Krt19 ductal specific gene expression

  8. expression of nestin and cytokeratin 19 is a normal property of embryonic stem cells preceding differentiation into C-peptide/insulin-producing cells without any selection for nestin-positive phenotypes

  9. loss of the keratin cytoskeleton causes defects in the trophoblast giant cell layer

  10. transduction of PDX1 in primary pancreatic ductal cells suppresses K19 expression, and short interfering RNA to PDX1 in Min6 insulinoma cells and results in the induction of normally undetectable K19

  11. This is the first demonstration of a mammalian phenotype associated with a genetic perturbation of keratin 19.

  12. Keratin absence or mutation is well tolerated after pancreatic but not liver injury, whereas excessive overexpression is toxic to the pancreas but not the liver when induced under basal conditions.

  13. A CK19(CreERT) knockin mouse line allows for conditional DNA recombination in epithelial cells in multiple endodermal organs.

  14. gene expression of krt8, krt18, and krt19 and correlation with gene expression profiles and cell differentiation are compared in human and mouse embryonic stem cells

  15. Plastin 1 accumulates in the terminal web and interacts with keratin 19, possibly contributing to anchoring the rootlets to the keratin network.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) Antigen Profile

Protein Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically expressed in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelopes the developing epidermis. The type I cytokeratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21.
