CPG-Ferrocene
Quick Overview for CPG-Ferrocene (ABIN1059065)
-
-
Specificity
- 3'-Ferrocene CPG is a reagent used in oligonucleotide synthesis. Ferrocene CPG is used to attach a Ferrocene molecule at the 3'-end during oligo synthesis. A Ferrocene linked oligonucleotide provides high sensitivity detection with electrochemical techniques such as impedance analysis.
-
Characteristics
- CPG-Ferrocene is a 3'-Ferrocene labeled solid support used for labeling oligos from the 3'-end during oligonucleotide synthesis. Compared with Ferrocene NHS Ester conjugation of primary amino-linked oligonucleotides, CPG-Ferrocene provides direct labeling of Ferrocene moieties with the benefit of substantially higher purity and convenience of purification. Labeled ferrocene oligonucleotides are detected by voltammetry.

Application Notes
-
Coupling: This support should be used in a manner identical to a normal protected nucleoside support since it contains the DMT group.
Deprotection: Deprotect using the protocol required by the nucleobases. -
