  • Target

    Interleukin 17a (IL17A) (Interleukin 17A (IL17A))

    Alternative Name

    IL-17A

    Background

IL-17A exhibits multiple biological activities on a variety of cells including the induction of IL-6 and IL-8 production in fibroblsts, the enhancement of surface expression of ICAM-1 in fibroblast, activation of NF-kappaB and costimulation of T cell proliferation. Induces stromal cells to produce proinflammatory and hematopoietic cytokines.
