Specificity
- This antibody recognises Lipoprotein lipase (LPL), which plays a key role in lipoprotein metabolism. The primary function of this lipase is the hydrolysis of triglycerides of circulating chylomicrons and very low density lipoproteins (VLDL). The antibody recognises LPL in different species (except mice) but does not recognise hepatic, pancreatic or related lipases.
