Specificity
- Specific for human OSP/Claudin-11. Single band at ~22kD is observed when using this antibody at 0.5 μg/mL or less in mouse brain homogenates. An additional band of ~44kD representing the dimerized protein may be observed at 1 μg/mL. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse. Species sequence homology: Rat.

Purification
- Immunoaffinity purified
-
Immunogen
-
Synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human OSP/Claudin-11, which differs by only one amino acid from mouse and rat sequences.
Type of Immunogen: Synthetic peptide -

Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA (0.1 - 1 μg/mL), IF (2 - 5 μg/mL), IP (1 - 10 μg/mL), WB (0.5 - 2 μg/mL)
Usage: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Immunofluorescence (Mouse): 2-5 μg/mL. ELISA (Immunogen): 0.1-1 μg/mL. Western Blot (Mouse): 0.5-2 μg/mL. Immunoprecipitation (Mouse): 1-10 μg/mL using NP40-mouse brain homogenates, but not for RIPA-buffer mouse brain homogenates after treating with SDS-out. The protein may have precipitated out of solution along with the SDS. -
