Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Mouse TCR Vβ7 bearing T cells and NKT cells, may not be present in mice expressing the MIS-1a haplotype
-
Characteristics
- The TR310 antibody reacts with the mouse T cell receptor Vβ7 segment . T cells expressing the α/β T cell receptor use clonally distributed TCRs to recognize cell-bound antigens such as peptide/MHC complexes and viral superantigens. The α/β TCR is an oligomeric TCR complex composed of covalently bound α and β chains involved in antigen recognition and the non-covalently associated monomorphic proteins CD3δ, γ, ε, and ζ chains. The TR310 antibody reacts with one such clonally distributed TCR β chain known as Vβ7. Vβ7 is expressed on a small subpopulation of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. The TR310 antibody has been used for the identification of Vβ7 expressing T cells by flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation.
