Background
- The membrane isoform of CD304 is a receptor that regulates angiogenesis and organogenesis in response to growth factors of the VEGF family. CD304 forms a complex with VEGFR2/KDR, resulting in increased cell migration and chemotaxis. In the nervous system, CD304 complexed with plexin mediates Sema-3A signaling and may be involved in axon guidance.
