-
Specificity
- Recognizes human CPA2. Recognizes the pro form, (aa 17 - 417) but not the activated enzyme (aa 113 - 417) in Western blots. Does not cross-react with rhCPA1, rhCPA4, rhCPB1 or rhCPE. Species sequence homology: chimpanzee 99.5 % , canine 90 %, rat, 87 %, mouse 86 % and chicken 70 %.

Application Notes
-
Approved: ELISA (0.5 - 1 μg/mL), IP (25 μg/mL), WB (1 - 2 μg/mL)
Usage: Suitable for use in Western blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Direct ELISA. Western blot: 1-2 μg/mL Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rhCPA2 is approximately 5 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection with WesternGlo Chemiluminescent Detection Substrate will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Immunoprecipitation: 25 μg/mL. Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. -
