A synthetic peptide from AA 850-900 the of human KCNH2 conjugated to blue carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen is homologous in mouse and rat.
IHC WB (confirmed by recombinant protein). A concentration of 10-50,micro,g,ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Restrictions
For Research Use only
Format
Lyophilized
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 500 µl of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice
Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage
4 °C,-20 °C
Storage Comment
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Target
KCNH2
(Potassium Voltage-Gated Channel, Subfamily H (Eag-Related), Member 2 (KCNH2))
FUNCTION: Pore-forming (alpha) subunit of voltage-gated inwardly rectifying potassium channel. Channel properties are modulated by cAMP and subunit assembly. Mediates the rapidly activating component of the delayed rectifying potassium current in heart (IKr). Subcellular location: Membrane Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: Isoform 1 is expressed in heart brain and testis and at low levels in lung. Isoform 3 is expressed predominantly in heart. The expression of isoform 2 is low in all tissues tested.
