    Anti-NMI Antibody (monoclonal, 2F3)

    Cross-Reactivity (Details)

    No cross-reactivity with other proteins.

    Characteristics

Anti-NMI Antibody (monoclonal, 2F3) (ABIN6719489). Tested in Flow Cytometry, IF, IHC, ICC, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. This is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications.

    Purification

    Immunogen affinity purified.

    Immunogen

E.coli-derived human NMI recombinant protein (Position: E2-E307). Human NMI shares 64% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse NMI.

    Isotype

    IgG2b
  • Application Notes

    Western blot, 0.1-0.5 μg/mL
    Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Section), 0.5-1 μg/mL
    Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, 5 μg/mL
Flow Cytometry (Fixed), 1-3 μg/1x106 cells

    Comment

Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. By Heat: Boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0, for 20mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end users.

  • Target

NMI (N-Myc (And STAT) Interactor (NMI))

    Alternative Name

    NMI

    Background

Synonyms: N-myc-interactor, Nmi, N-myc and STAT interactor, NMI

Tissue Specificity: Expressed in all adult and fetal tissues except brain and skin. More abundant in fetal tissues especially liver.

Background: NMYC interactor (NMI) encodes a protein that interacts with NMYC and CMYC (two members of the oncogene Myc family), and other transcription factors containing a Zip, HLH, or HLH-Zip motif. The NMI protein also interacts with all STATs except STAT2 and augments STAT-mediated transcription in response to cytokines IL2 and IFN-gamma. The NMI mRNA has low expression levels in all human fetal and adult tissues tested except brain and has high expression in cancer cell line-myeloid leukemias.
