  • Application Notes

    IP: 2 - 5 μg/mg lysate

WB: Not recommended. ABIN7452246 has not consistently performed satisfactorily when used for WB of RNF138 in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of RNF138.

    Alternative Name

    RNF138

    Background

Background: RING-finger protein 138 (RNF138) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase. Together with NLK, RNF138 is involved in the ubiquitination and degradation of TCF/LEF. RNF138 also exhibits auto-ubiquitination activity in combination with UBE2K. RNF138 may act as a negative regulator in the Wnt/beta-catenin-mediated signaling pathway [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) Q8WVD3].
