    IHC: 1:2,000 - 1:10,000. Epitope retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for FFPE tissue sections.

    IP: 5 - 10 μg/mg lysate

    WB: Not recommended. ABIN7453938 has not performed satisfactorily when used for WB of SMG9 in crude preparations (e.g. whole cell lysate). This antibody can be used for WB of enriched (e.g. immunoprecipitated) sources of SMG9.

    Background: SMG9 is a subunit of the SMG-1 complex. SMG-1 and Upf1 are part of a surveillance complex that participates in nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) to degrade mRNAs containing premature translation initiation codons (PTCs).
