  • Target

BCCIP (BRCA2 and CDKN1A Interacting Protein (BCCIP))

    Alternative Name

    BCCIP

    Background

Background: BCCIP (BRCA2 and CDKN1A interacting protein) was isolated as a BRCA2 and p21 interacting protein. Downregulation of BCCIP results in chromosome instability and incomplete cytokinesis indicating a role in DNA damage. Additionally, BCCIP is critical for BRCA2- and Rad51-dependent homologous recombinational repair.
