    SIRPG (Signal-Regulatory Protein gamma (SIRPG))

    Alternative Name

    CD172g

    Background

Signal regulatory protein gamma,CD172g is a transmembrane glycoprotein, which may play a role in inter-T cellular signaling by binding CD47, and thus in influencing T cell behaviour. CD172g is expressed on mature thymocytes, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, NK cells, and some B cells. It is absent on myeloid cells. Engagement of CD172g by CD47 expressed on antigen presenting cells results in enhanced antigen-specific T cell proliferation and costimulates T cell activation.,SIRP gamma, SIRP-B2
