Application Details

Application Notes: The antibody 7G6 is recommended for the detection and analysis of desmocollin-2 (desmocollin-3) via various methods, such as immunohistochemistry, Western blot and others. For instance, the antibody was used to label desmocollin-2 in primary human keratinocytes via immunohistochemistry (Franke et al., 2006). Similarly, another group detected desmocollin-2 in A431 cells (Wahl et al., 2005). The antibody 7G6 was also utilized in the assessment of expression levels of desmocollin-2 in SHEEC and KYSE510 cells via Western blot (Fang et al., 2014).

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
