Clone

HSP90B1-1192
  • Purpose

    Glucose Regulated Protein 94 (GRP94)(HSP90B1/1192), CF740 conjugate

    Characteristics

Recognizes a protein of 94 kDa, which is identified as the glucose-regulated protein 94 (grp94) and also tumor rejection antigen (gp96). Grp94 shows a high degree of sequence homology with the heat shock protein 90 (hsp90). This MAb is highly specific to grp94 and shows minimal cross-reaction with other members of the HSP90 family. Grp s are a class of proteins unresponsive to heat shock and are induced by glucose deprivation. Grp94 has been briefly studied as a prognostic factor in breast cancer.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

    Immunogen

    Recombinant full-length human HSP90B1 protein

    Isotype

    IgG2a, kappa
  • Application Notes

Higher concentration may be required for direct detection using primary antibody conjugates than for indirect detection with secondary antibody. Immunohistology formalin-fixed 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Flow Cytometry 0.5-1 μg/million cells/0.1 mL. Immunofluorescence 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Western blotting 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Predicted to show broad species reactivity. Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by user
