Background
- Dgat2 is an essential acyltransferase that catalyzes the terminal and only committed step in triacylglycerol synthesis by using diacylglycerol and fatty acyl CoA as substrates. It is required for synthesis and storage of intracellular triglycerides. It probably plays a central role in cytosolic lipid accumulation. Synonyms: Polyclonal Dgat2 antibody, Anti-Dgat2 antibody, diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 2 antibody, 0610010B06Rik antibody, DGAT-2 antibody.
