    Application Note: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase [Leuconostoc mesenteroides] in a standard ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Goat) code #611-1302 and (ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiozoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:2,000 to 1:8,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.

    Western Blot Dilution: 1:500 - 1:3,000

    ELISA Dilution: 1:5,000 - 1:25,000

    Background
    Background: Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase catalyzes the oxidation of glucose 6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconolactone. It can utilize either NADP+ or NAD+. This protein is involved in step 1 of the subpathway that synthesizes D-ribulose 5-phosphate from D-glucose 6-phosphate (oxidative stage).
