For the native antigens, Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (strain F) is cultivated in Vero cells and virus purification is performed by a two-step ultra-centrifugation. The antigens consists of virus particles and virus components and are suitable for the detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies.
