Reconstitution
- Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid votex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1 % BSA, 5 % HSA, 10 % FBS or 5 % Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.

Storage
- -20 °C,-80 °C
-
Storage Comment
- Store the lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months.|After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20°C for 3 months, at 2-8°C for up to 1 week.

Background
-
Description: Mouse Interleukin 33 (IL-33) is a proinflammatory cytokine which may also regulates gene transcription inproducer cells. IL-33 is structurally related to IL-1, which induces helper T cells to produce type 2 cytokines andacts through the receptor IL1RL-1. BindingIL-33 to this receptor activates NF-kappa-B and MAP kinases andinduces in vitro Th2 cells to produce cytokines. In vivo, IL-33 induces the expression of IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 and alsoleads to severe pathological changes in mucosal organs.
