Key Benefits:
- Predefined custom protein - from design to production - by highly experienced protein experts.
- Protein expressed in mammalian cells and purified in one-step affinity chromatography
- The optimized expression system ensures reliability for intracellular, secreted and transmembrane proteins.
- State-of-the-art algorithm used for plasmid design (Gene synthesis).
If you are not interested in a full length protein, please contact us for individual protein fragments.
The big advantage of ordering our predefined custom proteins in comparison to ordering custom-made proteins from other companies is that there is no financial obligation in case the protein cannot be expressed or purified. - Purity
- > 90 % as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE, anti-tag ELISA, Western Blot and analytical SEC (HPLC)
- Grade
- custom-made

- Alternative Name
- HPS6 (HPS6 Products)
- Background
- BLOC-2 complex member HPS6 (Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome 6 protein) (Ruby-eye protein homolog) (Ru),FUNCTION: May regulate the synthesis and function of lysosomes and of highly specialized organelles, such as melanosomes and platelet dense granules (PubMed:17041891). Acts as a cargo adapter for the dynein-dynactin motor complex to mediate the transport of lysosomes from the cell periphery to the perinuclear region. Facilitates retrograde lysosomal trafficking by linking the motor complex to lysosomes, and perinuclear positioning of lysosomes is crucial for the delivery of endocytic cargos to lysosomes, for lysosome maturation and functioning (PubMed:25189619). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:17041891, ECO:0000269|PubMed:25189619}.
