Key Benefits:
- Predefined custom protein - from design to production - by highly experienced protein experts.
- Protein expressed in mammalian cells and purified in one-step affinity chromatography
- The optimized expression system ensures reliability for intracellular, secreted and transmembrane proteins.
- State-of-the-art algorithm used for plasmid design (Gene synthesis).
If you are not interested in a full length protein, please contact us for individual protein fragments.
The big advantage of ordering our predefined custom proteins in comparison to ordering custom-made proteins from other companies is that there is no financial obligation in case the protein cannot be expressed or purified. - Purity
- > 90 % as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE, anti-tag ELISA, Western Blot and analytical SEC (HPLC)
- Grade
- custom-made

- Target
- CLCN7 (Chloride Channel, Voltage-Sensitive 7 (CLCN7))
- Alternative Name
- CLCN7 (CLCN7 Products)
- Background
- H(+)/Cl(-) exchange transporter 7 (Chloride channel 7 alpha subunit) (Chloride channel protein 7) (ClC-7),FUNCTION: Slowly voltage-gated channel mediating the exchange of chloride ions against protons (PubMed:18449189, PubMed:21527911). Functions as antiporter and contributes to the acidification of the lysosome lumen and may be involved in maintaining lysosomal pH (PubMed:18449189, PubMed:21527911, PubMed:31155284). The CLC channel family contains both chloride channels and proton-coupled anion transporters that exchange chloride or another anion for protons (By similarity). The presence of conserved gating glutamate residues is typical for family members that function as antiporters (By similarity). {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:P35523, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18449189, ECO:0000269|PubMed:21527911, ECO:0000269|PubMed:31155284}.
