Key Benefits:
- Predefined custom protein - from design to production - by highly experienced protein experts.
- Protein expressed in mammalian cells and purified in one-step affinity chromatography
- The optimized expression system ensures reliability for intracellular, secreted and transmembrane proteins.
- State-of-the-art algorithm used for plasmid design (Gene synthesis).
If you are not interested in a full length protein, please contact us for individual protein fragments.
The big advantage of ordering our predefined custom proteins in comparison to ordering custom-made proteins from other companies is that there is no financial obligation in case the protein cannot be expressed or purified.

Background
- Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 3 (PI3-kinase type 3) (PI3K type 3) (PtdIns-3-kinase type 3) (EC 2.7.1.137) (Phosphoinositide-3-kinase class 3),FUNCTION: Catalytic subunit of the PI3K complex that mediates formation of phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate, different complex forms are believed to play a role in multiple membrane trafficking pathways: PI3KC3-C1 is involved in initiation of autophagosomes and PI3KC3-C2 in maturation of autophagosomes and endocytosis. As part of PI3KC3-C1, promotes endoplasmic reticulum membrane curvature formation prior to vesicle budding. Involved in regulation of degradative endocytic trafficking and required for the abcission step in cytokinesis, probably in the context of PI3KC3-C2. Involved in the transport of lysosomal enzyme precursors to lysosomes. Required for transport from early to late endosomes (By similarity). {ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:O88763, ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q8NEB9}.
