FAM69A encodes a member of the FAM69 family of cysteine-rich type II transmembrane proteins.
Showing 4 out of 4 products:
An analysis and fine mapping of GFI (show GFI1B Proteins)-EVI5-RPL5 (show RPL5 Proteins)-FAM69A locus, genotyping eight Tag-single nucleotide polymorphisms in 732 multiple sclerosis patients and 974 controls from Spain, was performed.
This gene encodes a member of the FAM69 family of cysteine-rich type II transmembrane proteins. These proteins localize to the endoplasmic reticulum but their specific functions are unknown. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
