The assembly and stability of the RNA polymerase II transcription pre-initiation complex on a eukaryotic core promoter involve the effects of TFIIA on the interaction between TATA-binding protein (TBP) and DNA. Additionally we are shipping GTF2A1L Antibodies (50) and many more products for this protein.

Our results provided a new insight into susceptibility of USF1 (show USF1 Proteins) variant with male infertility. rs11204546 of OR2W3 (show OR2W3 Proteins) and rs11677854 of GTF2A1L might be additional valuable molecular predictive markers
A unique CpG-specific methylation pattern at the ALF promoter precedes expression in pachytene spermatocytes.
Results identified ALF as a human spermatogenesis related (show SYCE2 Proteins) gene, the abnormal expression of ALF might be the partial cause for human infertility.
TFIIA (show GTF2A1 Proteins) tau is associated with undifferentiated cells during development, yet is down-regulated at the chromatin level upon cellular differentiation.
Taspase1 cleaves a ubiquitously expressed GTF (TFIIA (show GTF2A1 Proteins)) to enable tissue-specific (testis) transcription, meeting the demand for sophisticated regulation of distinct subsets of genes in higher organisms.
a role for ALF in the assembly and stabilization of initiation complexes in germ cells is likely to be similar or identical to the role of TFIIA (show GTF2A1 Proteins) in somatic cells.
unique core promoter that is active in both male and female reproductive tissue suggesting ALF may have a regulatory role in male and female gametogenic gene expression programs.
Endogenous ALF is proteolytically cleaved to give alpha- and beta-subunits and its cleavage site was mapped.
The assembly and stability of the RNA polymerase II transcription pre-initiation complex on a eukaryotic core promoter involve the effects of TFIIA on the interaction between TATA-binding protein (TBP) and DNA. This gene encodes a germ cell-specific counterpart of the large (alpha/beta) subunit of general transcription factor TFIIA that is able to stabilize the binding of TBP to DNA and may be uniquely important to testis biology. Alternative splicing for this locus has been observed and two variants, encoding distinct isoforms, have been identified. Co-transcription of this gene and the neighboring upstream gene generates a rare transcript (SALF), which encodes a fusion protein comprised of sequence sharing identity with each individual gene product.
