SYNRG encodes a protein that interacts with the gamma subunit of AP1 clathrin-adaptor complex. Additionally we are shipping SYNRG Kits (7) and SYNRG Antibodies (2) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 3 out of 3 products:
the aftiphilin/p200 (show CUX1 Proteins)/gamma-synergin complex facilitates AP-1 (show FOSB Proteins) function
AP-3 and AP-1 (show FOSB Proteins) function in partially redundant pathways to transfer tyrosinase (show TYR Proteins) from distinct endosomal subdomains to melanosomes
Data show that by recruiting aftiphilin/gamma-synergin in addition to clathrin, AP-1 (show FOSB Proteins) coordinates formation of Weibel-Palade bodies with their acquisition of a regulated secretory phenotype.
This gene encodes a protein that interacts with the gamma subunit of AP1 clathrin-adaptor complex. The AP1 complex is located at the trans-Golgi network and associates specific proteins with clathrin-coated vesicles. This encoded protein may act to connect the AP1 complex to other proteins. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been described for this gene.
