Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM) catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA) to 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA) in the glycolytic pathway. Additionally we are shipping PGAM2 Antibodies (72) and PGAM2 Proteins (10) and many more products for this protein.

Human PGAM2 ELISA Kit for Sandwich ELISA - ABIN366167
Li, Li, Wang, Yang: Proteomic analysis of effluents from perfused human heart for transplantation: identification of potential biomarkers for ischemic heart damage. in Proteome science 2012
These results reveal a mechanism of PGAM2 regulation and NADPH (show NQO1 ELISA Kits) homeostasis in response to oxidative stress that impacts cell proliferation and tumor growth.
Pgam2 gene plays an important role in muscle growth and development.
Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM) catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA) to 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA) in the glycolytic pathway. The PGAM is a dimeric enzyme containing, in different tissues, different proportions of a slow-migrating muscle (MM) isozyme, a fast-migrating brain (BB) isozyme, and a hybrid form (MB). This gene encodes muscle-specific PGAM subunit. Mutations in this gene cause muscle phosphoglycerate mutase eficiency, also known as glycogen storage disease X.
