More ELISA Kits for serglycin Interaction Partners

Human serglycin (SRGN) interaction partners

  1. The elevated levels of serglycin in aggressive cancer and stromal cells may suggest a key role for serglycin in disease progression

  2. These results suggest functions for serglycin in endothelial cells trough interactions with partner molecules, in biological processes with relevance for diabetic complications, cardiovascular disease and cancer development.

  3. These results suggest that different signaling pathways are involved in regulating secretion of serglycin and partner molecules in activated endothelial cells.

  4. The reduced expression of SRGN was accompanied by elevated levels of E-cadherin (show CDH1 ELISA Kits).

  5. These studies provide direct evidence for a critical role for serglycin in MM pathogenesis and show that targeting serglycin may provide a novel therapeutic approach for MM.

  6. These results suggest that human epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) has strong inflammatory properties in patients with coronary artery disease and provide novel evidence that serglycin is an adipocytokine highly expressed in EAT.

  7. Cell-surface SRGN promotes the adhesion of myeloma cells to collagen type I.

  8. This review covers recent studies on the involvement of serglycin in various pathological conditions, as well as its roles in immunity, hemostasis, cell growth, apoptosis, and reproduction.

  9. Human granulocyte precursors transfected with siRNA against serglycin displayed reduced capability to retain fully processed HNP-1 (show DEFA1 ELISA Kits).

  10. Serglycin regulates NPC (show NPC1 ELISA Kits) metastasis via autocrine and paracrine routes, and that it serves as an independent prognostic indicator of metastasis-free survival and disease-free survival in NPC (show NPC1 ELISA Kits) patients.

Mouse (Murine) serglycin (SRGN) interaction partners

  1. serglycin deficient mice exhibited elevated concentrations of serum LDL after feeding high-fat diet for 20 weeks.

  2. serglycin plays a critical role in the maturation of dense-core cytotoxic granules in cytotoxic lymphocytes and the trafficking and storage of perforin (show PRF1 ELISA Kits) and granzyme B (show Gzmb ELISA Kits), whereas granzyme A (show GZMA ELISA Kits) is unaffected

  3. Wild-type mast cells efficiently degraded exogenous or endogenously produced IL-13 (show IL13 ELISA Kits) upon degranulation, whereas serglycin -/- mast cells completely lacked this ability.

  4. Dopamine storage increased during mast cell maturation from bone marrow precursors, and was dependent on the presence of serglycin.

  5. Cells lacking mouse mast cell protease 6 (show TPSB2 ELISA Kits) exhibited similar defects in apoptosis as observed in serglycin(-/-) cells, indicating that the pro-apoptotic function of serglycin is due to downstream effects of proteases that are complex-bound to serglycin

  6. The PRG-1 (show PTGR1 ELISA Kits) transcription is initiated at multiple transcription start site and no influence on expression in vivo by Nex1 (show NEUROD6 ELISA Kits) deficiency.

  7. serglycin proteoglycan as a novel player in mast cell apoptosis.

  8. serglycin proteoglycan is dispensable for normal secretion and activity of mast cell proteases in response to peritoneal infection with T. gondii.

  9. SG proteoglycan (show Vcan ELISA Kits) has a key role in mast cell function

  10. serglycin is the major proteoglycan (show Vcan ELISA Kits) secreted by peritoneal macrophages and the macrophage serglycin may have a role in regulating secretion of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (show TNF ELISA Kits)

serglycin (SRGN) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a protein best known as a hematopoietic cell granule proteoglycan. Proteoglycans stored in the secretory granules of many hematopoietic cells also contain a protease-resistant peptide core, which may be important for neutralizing hydrolytic enzymes. This encoded protein was found to be associated with the macromolecular complex of granzymes and perforin, which may serve as a mediator of granule-mediated apoptosis. Two transcript variants, only one of them protein-coding, have been found for this gene.
