Immunogen: Native protein 14-3-3, purified from pathogen-free normal human brain.

Description: The 14-3-3 family consists of 30kD proteins that are involved in multiple cellular processesincluding protein kinase signalling pathways, regulation of cell cycle progression,transcription and intracellular trafficking. Protein interactions with 14-3-3 show distinctpreferences for its different isoforms and are regulated by phosphorylation of both 14-3-3and the bound protein.

Specificity: This antibody recognises the lower molecular weight subunit (26 kD) of protein 14-3-3. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Application Notes: Western blot (1: 10 - 1: 50). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
