Immunogen Cathepsin D isolated from human liver.
Description It stains fibroblasts and macrophages strongly but stains weakly with the myoepithelialcells of breast. It stains the sweat ducts and glands in the skin, islets cells and granules ofpancreatic acini.
Specificity This antibody reacts with the zymogen as well as the activated form of cathepsin D. Cellular Localization: CytoplasmicSpecies: Human. Others not tested.

Application Details

Application Notes Immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections: diluted of 1: 75-1: 200 in an ABC method (30 minutes at room temperature)Recommended Positive Control: Breast carcinomaOther applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer containing sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
